Able Seaman Nightingale, 60, Newhill Wath,on-Dearne, was killed in action. in France on Oct. 26.

He enlisted in Sept., 1914, and was previously employed at Silverwood Colliery.

He was 32 years of age, and had seen service in Gallipoli before going to France
