Sergeant William Oldham (Royal Engineers), eldest son of Mr and Mrs Oldham, 126 Sandymount road, -Wath , has been awarded the DCM for specially gallant conduct in France.

Sergeant Oldham is married and his home is in Llanelly, Wales.
