Gunner Patrick, younger son of Mrs J. C. Patrick, Cemetery road, Wath on Dearne has died of woundls.
He had seen service in France and Italy and before enlistment was employed by Edward Smith and Sons, West Melton.
His Officer writes:
I was here at the time he was wounded, so will let you know what happened. A place behind us was being shelled and several pounds fell short. We got them in our position. He was, I think, asleep when he was killed.
