Prisoner of War.

News that her eldest son Driver James Penaluna (27), is a prisoner of war in Italy, has been received recently by Mrs. Penaluna, of 19, York Street West Melton.

Dvr. Penaluna had been reported missing in the Middle East since Jan. 23rd. He was known to have been wounded. In April Mrs. Penaluna received a letter from a Sheffield man, Mr. E. Keyworth, informing her that he had heard a message broadcast to her from the Vatican that her son was a prisoner in Camp 66, Military Post 3400, Italy.

Since that time relatives have had letters from him. Dvr. Penaluna enlisted in the Royal Artillery In Nov. 1934
