Prisoner of War.

After being missing since June 10th, Guardsman Albert Ernest Potts (20), eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Potts. 110  Avenue Road, is now a prisoner of war.

His parents received a card from Germany on Saturday from their son, stating that he was in good health and being well treated.

Guardsman Potts joined the Coldstream Guards in September, 193S. and was sent to France the following year. A native of Wath he was educated at Wath Grammar School.

Before joining the Guards he was employed as a clerk at the Wombwell depot of the Yorkshire Traction Company. His parents are grateful to everyone who has inquired after their son.
