Private S. Twite 11, Doncaster Rd., Wath, was killed in action on April 26.

He had been serving since September, 1915, had only been in the line a few months.

He was a married man, aged 21, and had four brothers also serving.

Before enlistment he was employed on the Great Central Railway.
