News is just to hand that private W Waddington, of West Melton (M.G.C.) has died in France from being dangerously gassed.

At the time of enlistment he was residing at Dukinfield, Cheshire, although he was a West Melton man, where also resided his parents and relatives. He leaves a widow and young son.
