On “The Rock”

Celebrating his 21st birthday to-day (Friday), at Gibraltar, is L.A/c. Peter Watson, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Watson, 63, Rotherham Road, West Melton.  L.A/c. Watson has served in the R.A.F. for two years and went abroad a few months ago.

Formerly he was employed as a clerk at Wath Main Colliery offices.  An accomplished pianist, L.A/c. Watson played with a West Melton dance band, and has done considerable charity work.

His brother, Walter, was killed at Arras in the last war.
