Trooper Samuel Watson, son of Mr. Charles Watson, of 23, Wombwell Avenue, Newhill, has lived with his grandmother, Mrs. Watson, Workmen’s Home, Market Place, Wath, since he was six.

He is now 21.

Prior to Joining the Forces in January this year, Trooper Watson, an old pupil of Park Road School, was employed by Waterstone Glassware, Ltd., Wath.
