Mr A.Calvert of 28 Victoria Road, Winterwell, is a proud and happy father. He has four sons at the front, two grandsons, a son in law and a nephew.

One son, Sergeant Arthur Calvert, recently distinguished himself by obtaining the D.C.M. and has been over to Wath for a deserving leave. He is in the 10th Yok and Lancaster Regiment.
