Wath Soldier Brothers

Two sons of Mr. and Mrs. W. Daniel, 3 Moor Road, Wath, are serving with the Forces. Sergeant Arthur Daniel, their youngest son, has been in the Army since February 1940, and has seen service in the African, Sicilian and Italian campaigns.

Before joining up he was employed by the Barnsley British Cooperative Society where he made many friends.

His brother, Private Douglas Daniel, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel, is with the Army Catering Corps, and was employed by Messrs. John Brown Limited, Scunthorpe, before entering the forces in June 1940.

The brothers are old pupils of Wath Victoria School. Both are married and Private Douglas has a five-year-old son.
