Soldiers – Kay Brothers – Three Sons Serving

South Yorkshire Times, May 13th 1944

All three sons of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Kay, of 17, Oaklea Avenue, West Melton, are serving in the Forces.

The youngest, Herbert, was first to be called up and has served with the K.O.S.B. (King’s Own Scottish Borderers) since 1939.

Wilfred has been with the R.A.S.C. (Royal Armoured Service Corps.) since 1940, and the eldest, Fred, who also joined up in 1940, is in the R.A.C. (Royal Armoured Corps).
