Sunday Trading at Mexborough.

At the Doncaster West Riding Court on Saturday Amy Mackrah, widow, grocer, of Road, Mexborough, was summoned for trading on Sunday, October 9.

Mr Muir Wilson, who defended, urged that the sales were of necessity, and that the consent of the Chief Officer of the district, which was necessary, had not been obtained.

The case was dismissed.

A summons against Mary Nolan, a Mexborough ice-cream vendor, was withdrawn.
