Wath’s Victory.
Silkstone Common Put Up An Excellent Fight.
The final of the “Telegraph Cup was played on Saturday, on the Tinsley W.M. green before a large number spectators.
It was expected that Wath would prove the winners but Silkstone Common, their opponents gave them a real good game.
The cun presented to the winners by Mr. Douglas C. Leng, at the close of the James.
The officials charge were Mr. I J Everiss, referee, and Messrs J C Simpson and J. McMafiters, measurers.
