The Parkway

A pleasant view of a footpath through plantations leading from Swinton to the Manvers Main Colliery.

This path. is in the line of a new road from Wath to Parkgate which is included in the Rotherham Regional Town Planning Scheme, and the vicinity of this section of the road is planned as suitable for laying out a public park.Similar provision is planned for an area between the golf course at Wath and the main road near the Mechanics Institute.
