To Make a Recording

On Tuesday 24-year-old Mr Harold Hylett of 27 Cutts Avenue, Wath is to make a recording at the Opera House Blackpool, as a “discovery” in Reginald Dixon’s half-hour series.

Harold had his first chance two months ago when he recorded “I’d Rather Die Young” in the “What Makes a Star” BBC programme.

Mr Hylett is a driver for Wath Brewery, and has done a great deal of work for Spastics.

At present he is arranging a “Hal Mylett’s BBC Guest Night” for spastics at the Mitchell and Darfield Welfare Club next Friday.
