A toast to the future for Mr. J. Black, a former member of the staff of Wath Grammar School, who has left for a post at Lancaster Grammar School.

Proposing the toast is Mr. Arthur Robinson, licensee of the New Masons Arms, Mexborough, who presented Mr. Black with a tankard on behalf of his many friends at the New Masons.
