Tommy Hargreaves took nine for 31 against Hickleton at Wath. Hickleton were routed for 76, J Yardley staying through the innings for 35 not out.

Wath lost five wickets in wiping off that score. Hargreaves clean bowled five Hickleton batsmen in 19.4 overs, five of which were maidens.
