Forest Reserves Win at Wath.

Wath opened their home programme yesterday against Notts Forest Res., before a poor attendance. Burkinshaw had three shots charged down for Wath, following which Topham made a lucky clearance.

Alvey and Wilson indulged in some clever work on the home left, the movement ending by Burkinshaw dashing up and heading past Bennett.

In the second half the home side failed to stay the pace. A mis-kick by Nuttall let in Boyman, who equalised, and Green converted a centre from Smith.

Towards the close Wath were awarded a penalty for a foul on Burkinshaw, but Nuttall shot wide. Wath were pressing hotly at the end.
