Wath Atthletic, with a team weakened by illness, defeated Denaby United 2-0.

The first half was fast, but Wath scored through Williams and Kennie.

After the Interval, Denaby made a mass attack, but were met by determined defence, and eventually wore themselves out.

The winners were always the more dangerous in attack.
