Wath Athletic have not yet succeeded in getting together a team entirely to their satisfaction and already this season they have tried 25 players.
The only ever present Broomhead left-winger, a player marked ability. He has not only played every match but scored fairly regularly and is without doubt the most dangerous forward.
He gave a splendid display in the replayed cup tie with Denaby, scoring a goal which stamped him as a first-class opportunity.
I understand that Denaby took a fancy to him but he remains with the Sheffield Association club which he joined Midway through the last season after a spell in the army.
