Mr. Stan Roberts, steward of Wath British Legion Club, presenting a cheque for £36 11s. to Mr. Adsetts, hon. treasurer for the National Institute for the Blind, Sheffield Area, at Wath Legion Club on Friday evening. The money was raised by weekly gifts by club members and was built into a “lighthouse” of pennies.
