Hargreaves day at Doncaster
Doncaster 32 Wath 33 for 0
As a change from their experience of a week earlier the Wath bowlers at Doncaster on Saturday carried all before them and the Doncaster batsmen made a quite unexpected procession.
Hargreaves quickly got rid of the chief potential run maker, Pewtress, and after that Doncaster were not allowed to recover.
Hargreaves once bowled five consecutive maidens and he finished with six wickets for 13 runs. He and Kennedy bought through the Doncaster innings and Kennedy share was four for 19. Hargreaves then help Morris to hit off the runs without loss.
