Wath Council and Vaccination
“All Piffle”
There was a scene at a meeting of Wath Council, last night, when the medical Officer, Dr Frowley, reported 5 cases of smallpox in February, and said they were still in danger of an epidemic.
He declared it would be stopped altogether if magistrates would help by not signing vaccination exemption forms at their home.
Uproar followed, and the Chairman said he should continue to sign forms at his house.
“My opinion of vaccination,” he added, “is that it is all piffle.”
