Beech Road Houses Fetch £2,330
Bidding was not too keen at an auction of freehold property in Beech Road, Wath, at the Red Lion Hotel, Wath, Monday.
The auctioneers were Messrs. Lancaster and Sons, 8, Regent Street. Barnsley, and Messrs Raley and Sons were solicitors.
Three lots were offered, and all were sold to Mr. Smith for a client, as follows:
Block of four stone-fronted and brick-built dwelling houses, Nos. 30 to, 36. Beech Road, £700: block of four stone-fronted Nos. 85 to 91, Beech Road , £ 1,010: two stone-fronted houses, 93 and 95, Beech Road. £ 640.
The net rental of Lots 1 and 2 is £ 74 12s. 1d. each, and of Lot 3 £40 17s. 2d.
