Hospital Nurse Weds

A Mexborough Montagu Hospital Nurse, Miss Barbara Olive Bailey, S.R.N„ eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Bailey. 11, Winfield Road,  Wath, was married at Wath Church on Saturday to Mr Peter Ramsden, A.R.I.C., only son Mrs and the late Mr J runs 30 Oxford Avenue, Guisley, nr Leeds stop

The vicar, the Rev, J. H. Oxer officiated and the organist was Mr J S. Hampshire.

Given away by her father, the, bride wore a full length gown of embossed ivory brocade cut on classical lines and falling into a train. She had an elbow length veil and coronet and carried a spray of pink roses.

She was attended by Misses Eilee Bailey, Jennifer Grant, S.R.N. an Jennifer Gillham. They wore blue and white figured brocade with white, accessories and carried praver books.

Best man was Mr. Keith Firth. A.R.I.C., of London, and the groomsman was Mr. Raymond Bailey,

The bride’s mothrer wore a baby brocade two-piece with coffee coil coloured accessories and the bridegroom’s mother wore a green flowered nylon ensemble with beige accessories

the reception was held at Church house Wath and the couple are only morning in Paris. The bride travelled navy blue suit with navy and pale blue accessories.
