The wedding took place at All Saints’ Church, Wath, on Saturday, of Miss Dora Bailey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Bailey, of 35, Chapel Street, Wath and Mr. Edward Johnson Woodhouse, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Woodhouse, of “Sunnybank,” Neville’s Cross, Durham.

The Rev. F. J. Mace officiated at the ceremony.

The bride, who was given away by her lather, wore a petrel blue two-piece suit with accessories to tone. She was attended by Miss Vera Clerehugh, who was attired in a dress of periwinkle blue with accessories to tone. The bridegroom’s gift to the bridesmaid was perfume. The best man was Mr. W. Birchall and the groomsman Mr. H. Bailey.

The bride’s mother attended in an Air Force blue dress with spray of carnations and the bridegroom’s mother wore a nut brown dress with spray of carnations.

A reception was held after the ceremony by the bride’s parents at the Church House, Wath
