Mr. J. F. Ayrton (Wath) and Miss F. Count (Barnsley)

The wedding took place at Wath Parish Church of Miss Frances Count, daughter of Mrs. M. Raynor 22, Swift Street, Barnsley, to Mr. John Francis Ayrton, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. Ayrton, 9, Avenue Road, Wath.

The bride was given away by her uncle, Mr. W. Count, and wore a gown of white satin beaute with an ankle length veil surmounted by a pearl wreath and carried mauve tulips and fern.

She was attended by Misses Winnie Southwell, Florence and Lily Raynor and Dolly Clamp, wearing pink and mauve gowns with shoulder veils, and carrying muffs, and Margaret Jackson in pink and carrying a horseshoe which she presented to the bride.

Mr. Fred Ayrton was best man, and the groomsman was Mr. John Needham.

The bride is serving with the N.A.A.F.I.
