Mr V.C  Moore (Wath) and Miss H. Hadfield (West Melton)

Miss Hazel Hadfield, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Hadfield, 27, York Street, West Melton, was married at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Wath, to Gunner Victor Cyril Moore, R.A., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Moore, 96 Sandymount Road, Wath.

Dean Donkers officiated. Mr. J. Hadfield was best man and Mr. A. Moore groomsman. The bride was given away by her father and wore a gown of white figured satin beaute, a silk embroidered veil with wreath of satin and orange blossom and carried pink roses and white heather.

Bridesmaids were Misses D. M. Moore, P. Moore, W. Hadfield, S. Gerrard and Beryl and Doreen Greenall
