Miss Beatrice Hutchinson, daughter of Mrs. Hutchinson, 97, Oak Road, Wath, and the late Mr. Ben Hutchinson, was married at Wath Parish Church on Tuesday by the Vicar the Rev. B. Russell, to Mr. Harry Bell, Duke St. Park, Sheffield, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Bell, Sheffield. The service was choral.
The bride, given away by Mr. Dennis Hutchinson, wore a gown of embroidered satin, with veil, wreath, and train, and carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums. These were attendants, the Misses Emma Elizabeth, Thelma and Doreen Hutchinson (sisters), Kathleen Bell, and Audrey Shacklock.
The oldest two wore figured satin dresses with veils, coronets and silver shoes, two were in blue georgette. and the trainbearers wore pink satin. The bouquets were of anemone and chrysanthemums. From the bridegroom the bridesmaids received necklaces. The best man was Mr. Leonard Bell and the groomsman Mr. Horace Hutchinson. The reception was held at the bride’s home and continued at the Samson Hotel. Sheffield. The bride’s mother wore black figured satin with a carnation spray and the bridegroom’s mother was in black and white. The honeymoon is at Blackpool, the bride travelling in a black coat with squirrel fur trimmings and black accessories.
