Miss Emma Hutchison, daughter of Mrs and the late Mr B Hutchinson, of 97, Oak Road, Wath, was married at Wath Parish Church to Mr. Walter Mount, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Mount of 45, High Street, West Melton.
The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. D Hutchinson and wore a gown of white satin with veil and wreath of orange blossom and carried orchids. She was attended by Miss L. Hutchinson and Mrs. Bell, Miss T. Hutchinson, Miss Betty Beatie, Miss Doreen Hutchinson, Miss F. Mount, Miss P. Gillis, Miss D. Winstanley. Miss V. Hutchinson and Miss P. Bell. Master A Hutchinson was page boy.
Mr. L. Mount was best man, and the groomsman was Mr. A Hutchinson. The bridegroom, who is president of Wath and West Melton W.M.C., received a half dinner service from colleagues of the committee. His gift to the bride was a silver fox fur, and from her he received a diamond ring.
