Wedding – Idle & Carr
At Christ Church, Brampton Bierlow on Saturday. Miss Maud Taylor Idle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Idle, Featherstone, was married to Mr. Irvin Oxley Carr, second son of Mr. and Mrs. F. Carr, 77, Rotherham Road, West Melton, the Rev. C. L. Suggit (vicar) officiating.
The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. T. Idle, was attended by Misses C. and Lilian Carr, sisters of the bridegroom.
Mr. Claude Sorby was the best man. Appropriate music was played by Mr. Frank Willcock.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. G. Sorby after which the happy couple left for Scarboro’.
