Wedding – Jones & Elsey

Wedding: Miss B. Jones (West Melton) and Mr. H. Elsey (Brampton)

The wedding took place at the Brampton Parish Church on Sunday of Miss Betty Jones, only daughter of Mr. and Mr. T. L. Jones, 18, Highfield Grove, West Melton, and Mr. Herbert Elsey, only son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Elsey, 54, Knollbeck Lane, Brampton.

The bride who was given away by her father, wore a grey costume with navy accessories and spray of pink carnations.  She was attended by Mrs. D. Dyson, sister of the bridegroom who wore a navy costume with accessories to match, and a spray of cream carnations.

Best man was Mr. D. Robinson and groomsman Mr. J. Berry.  The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a pearl necklace with diamante clasp.  The couple left for a honeymoon at Cleethorpes.
