At Brampton Parish Church Miss Hazel Marian Spence, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Spence,106 Winterwell Road, West Melton, was married to Lieut. A. C. Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Davis, Birch Hills, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a gown of white lace, a veil and wreath of orange blossom and carried a bouquet of yellow carnations.

Bridesmaids, Misses Margery Spence, Joan Murdoch and Dorothy Nelson wore mauve main, blue satin, and blue silk, and carried sweet peas.

Lieut. W. H. Whiteside was best man. Both bridegroom and best man are serving with the Canadian Forces in England. The groomsman was Master Ronald Spence. Gifts from the bridegroom to bridesmaids were a signet ring, gold brooch and a necklace and bracelet. The bride, who has been serving with the Forces for nine months is a lance corporal in the A.T.S.
