The wedding took place at Wath Parish Church on Saturday of Miss Ada Williams, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Williams, of 16, Cemetery Road. Wath. and Gunner W. S. M. Fleming, eldest son of Mrs. and the late Mr. S. E. Fleming. of High Street. Towcester, Northants.
Given away by her brother, Mr. David Williams, the bride wore a gown of white satin cut on mediaeval style, with veil and wreath, and carried roses. Bridesmaids were Misses Ethel Williams and Eva Beevers, sister and cousin of the bride respectively, in turquoise blue, and head-dresses of flowers and carrying pink carnations and cornflowers.
Attendants were Lenie Frost and Sylvia Postie, in dusky pink dresses. Dolly Vardon bonnets and muffs to match. Robert Frost presented the bride with a silver horseshoe. The bridegroom gave the bridesmaids coral necklaces. Mr. Henry White was best man and Mr. Robert Beevers groomsman. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The bride’s mother wore a blue two-piece bride with other black accessories, and the bridegroom’s mother was attired in grey coat and blue hat.
