Weslyan Operetta “Cupid and the Ogre”

Last night an operetta was given in the Wesleyan Assembly Hall. Wath-on-Dearne, by the young people of the church and Sunday school, entitled “Cupid and the Ogre.”

A creditable performance was given under the conductorship of Mrs. E, A. Coakes, with Mr Charles Kelly as accompanist.

The proceeds were in aid of the church and school fund*.
