West Melton Nurse Honoured
Sister Cocking, daughter of Mr and Mrs James Cocking, The Ferns, High Street, West Melton, who is attached so the Queen Alexandra Imperial Nursing Reserve, Aldershot, was recently decorated at Buckingham Palace with the Royal Red Cross.
She was presented 12th Queen Alexandra on March 24 and received from her Majesty an autograph colume.
Miss cocking has been serving in France in the early days of the War, and is now home on 17 days leave, prior to going out to the East
