Honour For Wath Rechabite.
Mr. Joseph W. Robson, of Wath has recently been honoured by the Barnsley District of the independent owner of Rechabites (Salford unity).
Mr Hobson has been connected with the Rechabites for 42 years, during which period he has been a member of the Rescue Tent (Wath Mechanics Institute).
For 20 years he has held office, having attained all the local honours possible, passing from Guarding to Levite to Deputy Ruler, Ruler, Deputy Chief Ruler and Chief Ruler
He represented his Tent on the Executive of the Sheffield District and later on the formation of the Barnsley District served on this Executive. He was finally honoured with the position of District Chief Ruler and was recently presented with a certificate and cash entitling him to all the honours and privileges of a Past District Chief Ruler.
During the summer Mr Robinson was delegate to the High Movable Conference at Brighton.
