Coming Home

A former Wath Grammar School student, Mr Alan Humphries (22), who has for the past two and half years been with the Royal Army Service Corps in Famagusta, Cyprus, is returning in February to see his parents, Mr and Mrs J Humphries, 47 York St, West Melton, who will also see their grandson, two months old Roger, for the first time.

After leaving the Grammar School Mr Humphries joined the Army Apprentice School, leaving to attend another school at Harrogate.

Now after six years he his returning to his training school as a sergeant instructor, with his wife, Angela, and his baby son.
