Prisoner of War

Mrs A Porter, of 9 , Marshall Grove, Wath, has been informed that her son, Private Jack Holmes, serving in the Middle East, is a prisoner of war.

He was reported missing since April.

He is the fourth son of Mrs. Porter and the late Mr R Holmes, who was killed in the last war.

Jack is a keen ambulance worker and is a member of the St John Ambulance Brigade.

He has two brothers in the Forces.
