Spring Flower Queen

Pretty Carol Wade, a pupil at Wath Park Road Infants’ School has been chosen as Queen Forget-me-not and will preside over the annual school concert.

Her consort will be Kevin Usher, crown bearer David Parkes and Sceptre Bearer Richard Kenworthy. The Queen will be attended by Barbara Wade, Jane Addey, Glenda Slinn, Rhona Foulstone, Alison Dyson, Anne Beardshall, Mary Stinson, Susan Kirk, Lynn Poole, Lynn Bettney, Pamela Braithwaite, Patricia Drewery, Alison Chappell and Ann Palfreyman who will represent the spring flowers, daisies tulips, celandines, daffodils, bluebells, primroses, and violets. The retiring queen Marilyn Potter will be attended by Joyce Bradder, Jean Richardson, Margaret Ellis and Rosalind Brown.
