Where To Send Money

Conisborough.—This Committee has been relieving about 550 daily with soup and bread, but has disbanded. For want of funds money is badly needed here; to continue the work as before will require £35 weekly at least. Subscriptions should be sent to the Rev. R. P. Roseveare, Denaby Main.

Mexborough.—J. C. Fletcher and H. E. Liveredge, Market Hall, Mexborough, joint secretaries of relief committee. This Committee is giving relief to 356 families, containing about 5,000 persons. They are only able to spend about 1s. 8d. weekly on each family. The need for money is very urgent here; another £50 a week could be spent without extravagance.

Bolton-on-Dearne.—T. Washington, Board School, Bolton-on-Dearne, is secretary of the relief committee. They are feeding about 225 children three times a week; the funds will allow no more, and the Committee can do nothing for the men and women. Funds are urgently needed to enable the relief for the children to be continued and to enable the Committee to extend their usefulness.

Kilnhurst.—Thos. Palfreyman, Victoria Street, Kilnhurst, secretary of the relief committee. This Committee has about 1,400 men, women and children dependent upon its funds and wants more money badly.

Swinton.—J. Jones, chemist, Swinton, is the secretary of the relief committee which is giving soup and bread twice a week, when the funds allow, to about 2,500 children. There are a lot of hungry little ones in Swinton, and the Committee wants money very urgently.

Wath and Brampton.—Mr. S. E. Swiss (Brampton Bierlow), and G. Steer (Wath), are secretaries of the relief committee here. The Committee is doing a very extensive work, giving relief every day in the week. They have about 1,600 children, as well as a number of women, dependent upon them for food, and funds are urgently asked for.

Darfield.—James Norcliffe, Bridge Terrace, Darfield, secretary to the relief committee. This Committee directs its attention to giving a breakfast daily to about 700 children. Money sent here will be applied entirely to the purpose of feeding children, and, as elsewhere, funds are badly wanted.
