Wath bride to live in Canada

An attractive 20 years old Wath girl who is to be married in South Yorkshire, will honeymoon in Spain and is to make a home in Canada.

The girl, Miss Rosemary Mack, 62, Doncaster Road, Wath, is to marry 26 years old Mr Stephen Fayne of Hamilton, Ontario, who is at present working in this country for an electrical company.

The couple are to marry in March and then spend their honeymoon in Barcelona, Spain, where Mr Fayne is to work on another contract. They expect to be in Spain about six months and then hope to settle down in Hamilton on the banks of Lake Ontario, where Mr Fayne will work for the Toronto branch of the Company.

The only daughter of Mr and Mrs J Mack, Miss Mac, with 21 on May 8 – P.E.Day – is an old student Wath Grammar School.

After leaving school she worked for a time of the national Call Board, but for the past three years should been nursing at Leeds infirmary. It was while she was working in Leeds that she met her fiancé.

Mr Fayne, a B.Sc and A.M.I.E.E., took his degree in Canada and has taken a further degree at Oxford University this year. He has travelled to most parts of the world for his company and is to go to Mombasa, East Africa at the end of this month returning to this country for his wedding and then to reside in Hamilton.
