Miss Margaret Alice Beaumont, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Beaumont, of 1, Firth Road, West Melton, was married at Wath Parish Church on Monday to Mr. Pennis Pease, only son of Mr. J. Pease, of 60, Doncaster Road, Wath, and the late Mrs. Pease.

The Vicar, the Rev. Bertram Russell, officiated. The fathers of both bride and bridegroom are well, known business-men. The bride, given away by her father, wore white-shadow lace with aspray of orange blossom at the neck, and had a veil with a wreath of orange blossom; she carried pink carnations and fern.

The bridesmaids were the Misses E. Kemp, J. Scargill, IR. Pease, J. Brooke; two were in white net with floral coats and net caps and two in pale green net trimmed with pink rosebuds, with gloves to match and silver shoes. Their bouquets were of lilies-of- the-valley and pink rose buds and anemones; from the bridegroom they received necklets.

The bride’s mother wore a petel-blue two-piece with hat to tone and a spray of pink carnations. The best man was Mr. Harry E. Beaumont, and the groomsmen Mr. Joe Guthrie and Mr. Tom Wadsworth. The bride’s mother held a reception at the Empire Hall. The honeymoon is being spent at Morecambe, the bride travelling in a clover two-piece with black hat.
