Mr W.J. Jones (Bolsover) and Miss E.H. Taylor (Wath)

Miss Edith Hilda Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Taylor. of “The Hollies.” Doncaster Road, Wath, was married at Wath Parish Church on Saturday to Mr. Charles Bernard Jones, son of Mr. W. J. Jones, of Bolsover, Derbyshire.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a powder blue costume, with hat to match and carried pink roses.

She was attended by Miss Doreen Marwood, in a dusky pink cloque and carried sweet peas. The bridegroom gave the maid a travelling toilet case. Mr. Leslie Frederick Windsor was best man, and Sergt. Harold Berry groomsman.

The honeymoon was spent at St. Anne’s-on-Sea, the bride travelling in navy blue with hat to match.
