West Melton Man and French Woman.

“The defendant has apparently become infatuated with a young woman in France, where he went for a holiday in August,” said Mr. W. L. Crawford at Doncaster, on Saturday, when he appeared for Alice Harrison (53), who summoned her husband, Albert E. Harrison (34), engine cleaner, of West Melton, for desertion.

The defendant admitted the desertion and the magistrates made an order.
